How to replace the engine oil of the Dacia Duster

The red oil light on the instrument panel of the Dacia Duster mk1 indicates that it is time to replace the engine oil and oil filter. We remind you that oil replacement should always be combined with oil filter replacement. To perform the engine oil replacement, open the front hood and remove the oil tank cap. Pour a product inside the oil tank that will allow us to clean the tank before topping up; keep the liquid inside the tank for about 15 minutes after running the engine. Then lift the car using jacks and a jack and open the nut that locks the oil pan. Let the oil drain into a container and then close the nut. From the front hood, remove the oil filter box and replace the filter inside; mount the box and proceed with topping up the oil in the tank.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
