First of all, you need to turn off the car and activate the parking brake in order to carry out the replacement safely. Once you have done that, go outside and use a small flat screwdriver to remove the license plate light. Then, disconnect the electrical cable and proceed with replacing the bulb. Finally, reconnect the cable and reassemble the light correctly.
