In this video we see the intelligent solution studied by Dacia, which allows to transform the longitudinal bars into transverse bars, with a simple operation that can be done by oneself with a key provided in the onboard equipment. Depending on our current needs, we can easily vary the position of the bars: the specific key is located in the glove compartment, then we release the tabs covering the bolts that need to be unscrewed with the key, use the key to loosen the screws, then lift the bars from the roof and bring them into a transverse position; the profiled side must be positioned towards the front of the vehicle, for better aerodynamics; tighten the screw and close the tab; the procedure is performed in reverse to reposition the bars in a longitudinal position: this is the best position for traveling normally, and also for entering a car wash.
