EuroNCap test results for the Dacia Lodgy

In this video we can see the results of the EuroNcap test of the Dacia Lodgy, based on the official results of 2012 (the year in which the model was tested, and to which the images refer): It obtained a limited safety score, reflecting the "low cost" philosophy of the brand at the time. In adult protection, it reached three stars: acceptable protection for head, chest, and neck, but high risks for legs and pelvis in frontal crashes. Three stars also for child protection: there are Isofix attachments, but there are no warnings for deactivating the passenger side airbags. In relation to pedestrians, only two stars: the bumpers and hood are not very effective, with a high risk of serious injuries for pedestrians. Driving assistance: one star. No advanced systems as standard (ABS and speed limiter present, but no ESP). The Lodgy has not been examined by EuroNcap since 2012. With the evolution of standards (from 2020, ADAS systems are required for 5 stars), today it would probably be at 1 or 2 stars.
