How to open the tailgate lock of the Dacia Sandero from the inside

Model: Dacia Sandero MK 3 - Years 2021-2026

In this video we see a method to open the locked rear hatch of the Dacia Sandero. In models with a manual lever, near the left side of the rear seat - under a small plastic cover - we find a button to push upwards to unlock the hatch. In models with electric control, we will need to check fuse F21 in the fuse box located under the steering wheel. If the lever is not accessible or broken, we will need to lower the rear seats to access the trunk, remove the interior lining of the hatch and unscrew the screws on the sides of the panel. As shown in the video, we need to use a flat screwdriver to release the plastic clip.
