The lane assist cannot be permanently deactivated on the Dacia Sandero (nor on other vehicles).

Based on EU regulation 2019/2144, starting from July 2022, all vehicles approved in the EU must be equipped with lane assist, which is active by default and cannot be permanently deactivated. Therefore, the system must automatically reactivate at every start, even if it was turned off during the previous driving session. Only commercial or special vehicles may have exceptions. Naturally, the Dacia Sandero is no exception: it is possible to deactivate it for the current trip, as demonstrated by the YouTuber, by pressing the button located on the left side of the dashboard to enter the menu, then from the screen we go to the settings, where we can activate or deactivate the driving aids.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y

To open the bonnet on this vehicle, follow these simple instructions: first, open the driver's door and locate the lever positioned just below the dashboard, marked with an image of the vehicle with the bonnet open.
