How to Use the SOS Button on the 2023 Dacia Sandero

The Dacia Sandero is equipped with a "Free Emergency Call Service" that automatically contacts emergency services in case of an accident or illness. The green light indicates that the network is available, connecting the vehicle to the 112 call centre. To activate the signal while the vehicle is stationary, press and hold the button for about 5 seconds or press the button repeatedly 5 times. When the call is activated, your location and accident coordinates will be transmitted to 112, and an operator will be available to assist you with the most appropriate service during the intervention. If the red light remains on for more than 30 minutes, it may indicate a malfunction of the button, and you should visit a dealership for a check. If you accidentally pressed the emergency button, you can cancel the call by pressing the button for 10 seconds.
