Checking Fluid Levels and Location of Fuse Boxes on the Dacia Sandero

Model: Dacia Sandero MK 3 - Years 2021-2026

To check the fluid levels, open the bonnet: to check the oil level, pull out the dipstick with the yellow handle, clean it, reinsert it fully, and then pull it out again. The oil should be between the min and max marks. If it is below the minimum, top it up from the yellow cap. The coolant reservoir is located on the left side of the bonnet, and here too the fluid level must be between 'min and max'; if necessary, top it up with fluid of the same colour. The drain fluid reservoir is located in front of the driver, on the opposite side of the bonnet, and must NEVER drop below the minimum level. The windscreen washer fluid reservoir is on the opposite side of the bonnet, near the front; fill it until the fluid is visible. The fuse box is located between the steering column and the driver's door; those physically above the battery can only be changed by qualified personnel.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y

To open the bonnet on this vehicle, follow these simple instructions: first, open the driver's door and locate the lever positioned just below the dashboard, marked with an image of the vehicle with the bonnet open. Pull this lever towards you until you hear a "click" indicating the bonnet is released. Next, exit the cabin and stand in front of the bonnet to disengage the safety catch and complete the opening. To do this, slightly lift the bonnet, locate the yellow lever underneath, and pull it to the left to fully release and open the bonnet.
