After removing the gear knob and gaiter from a Dacia Sandero, first insert the rigid plastic piece into the gaiter to secure the knob, and fasten it with a rigid tie. Next, insert the lower square part of the gaiter and tuck the fabric inside, securing it with the outer part of the base.

Then, insert the gaiter into the handle and mount it onto the vehicle base.

Finally, insert the knob into the handle and test the gear operation before driving.
