Removing the Lock on a Daihatsu Charade

After removing the entire door panel (for this task, refer to other tutorials; simply remove all the screw covers and the screws underneath them, then disconnect the connectors), you will access the fixing screw located where the opening handle was. Unscrew this and then proceed to unscrew the other screw that secures the lock of the handle, which is located on the side of the door (see video). This will allow you to extract the lock from the door, and you can easily insert the new one by screwing in the same screws to secure it in place.
