Hello everyone! In this tutorial, you will learn how to separate the two cases of the engine block. Unscrew the bolts that hold them together. Remember the positions of the various bolts, as they are not all the same length. Remove the key from the countershaft. Tap with a rubber mallet on the shaft (only on the flywheel side) and on the secondary gear, where the pinion goes. Leverage with a screwdriver at the three points where the block attaches to the frame, then remove the two forks of the secondary shaft. Slide out the gears from the case and extract all the bearings from the block.

How to Remove the Engine from a KTM EXC 300?
