Hello everyone! In this tutorial we will briefly explain how to separate the two block covers. Unscrew the bolts joining them. Remember where the various bolts were placed, as they are not all of the same length. Remove the countershaft key. Hammer with a rubber mallet on the shaft (on the flywheel housing side only) and on the secondary gear, where the pinion goes. Pry with a screwdriver at the three points where the block secures to the frame, then remove the two forks of the countershaft. Slide off the crankcase gears and remove all bearings from the block.

How to restore the oil light on the T Max 530

In this video, we are shown the procedure to reset the oil light on the Yamaha T Max 530 as it does not turn off automatically after changing the oil. The procedure is quick and requires little time to be completed. To reset it, you need to: start the instrument panel, once the panel is started press the menu button, use the selection buttons to scroll to the maintenance item, select it by pressing the menu button, use the selection buttons to select the oil item, press the ok button to confirm, once the kilometers are selected press the up selection button to reset it. Once the light is reset, you can restart the instrument panel to verify that the procedure was successful.
