Replacing the battery of a Dodge Journey? Let's see how to remove the battery. Lift the car with a jack, remove the front left wheel. You will find the battery cover (splash shield). Remove the battery cover panel. Once the dedicated compartment is open, you will find the battery. Unscrew the securing bolts of the battery terminals, then remove it from the compartment. Insert a new battery into the container, tighten the terminal screws. Cover the battery with the cover and finally refit the wheel. Start the vehicle with the key and check the operation.
