Battery Replacement on a Dodge Journey

How to remove the battery from a Dodge Journey. Pay close attention to the process. In this vehicle, the battery is not located in the engine bay but in the front bumper (left side). The first step is to loosen the wheel nuts, lift the car on a column lift, and remove the wheel (for convenience). Then, use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws of the plastic inner wheel arch (front left). Now, unscrew the battery terminal bolts with a suitable socket wrench. Insert the new battery into the housing and reconnect the terminals (tighten all the wheel arch screws). Finally, refit the wheel.
