How do you replace the heater radiator on your Dodge Journey?

Model: Dodge Journey MK 1 - Years 2008-2020
Part: Heater core

In order to replace the heating radiator of the Dodge Journey it is necessary to completely remove the carpet and the side panel of the footrest compartment in correspondence with the pedals, on the driver's side. When these parts have been removed, it will be possible to access the components inside: the radiator must be removed from its seat by unscrewing the fastening screws and disconnecting the tube, in order to collect the liquid inside. At this point the old radiator will have to be extracted and it will be possible to insert the new spare part, fixing and connecting it appropriately.

First, lift the car on a column lift to the desired height, then remove the wheel (using a telescopic spanner or air impact wrench) along with the respective bolts. Unscrew the locking bolt of the brake caliper, remove it from the wheel hub support, and detach the pads from the brake caliper using a screwdriver. Install the new pads on the brake caliper and refit the brake caliper to the support; tighten all bolts and remount the wheel.
