If, if there are problems in engaging the gears on the automatic transmission, one of the possible causes could lie in the failure of a plastic bush applied to the control cables of the gearbox itself: to carry out this repair it is therefore necessary to remove the front part of the central tunnel, the one immediately under the gear lever; start by unhooking the trim frame which is located just below the lever in order to access the fixing screws of the side trim plastics; once the front cover of the tunnel has been removed, it is possible to access the cable housing and proceed with the replacement of the plastic bushing.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
