Timing Belt Diagram and Replacement

For this operation, you need to locate the position of the timing belt. The video shows the operations on an engine removed from its housing for convenience. Proceed to extract the belt from its housing. To do this, use the appropriate tool to relieve tension on the tensioner by rotating it clockwise. This allows you to remove the old belt. To fit the new belt, perform the same operations in reverse order. The maintenance operations shown in the images are performed on a Dodge Charger.
