The DR1.0, being an urban electric car, supports standard charging modes for electric vehicles: its performance and charging times depend on its relatively small battery capacity (approximately 17.5 kWh). It can be charged via a domestic charging cable (Shuko) with single-phase alternating current up to 2.3 kW, with a charging time (0/100%) of about 8/10 hours. Using a Wallbox with a Mennecker type connector, it can be charged with single-phase alternating current up to 7.4 kW, with a charging time (0/100%) of 3/4 hours. With a public charging station using a CCS combo 2 connector with direct current up to 50 kW, the estimated charging time (0/80%) is 30/40 minutes. This is a rapid boost that should not be used as the sole charging method to preserve the long-term functionality of the battery.
