To change the engine oil on a Ducati 749S, first, unscrew the drain plug located at the bottom centre of the bike: once the plug is removed, you can collect all the used oil in a suitably positioned container. Next to the drain plug, you will also find the oil filter, which needs to be removed from its housing and replaced with a new one. After replacing the filter, close the drain plug and top up by pouring new oil through the filler cap on the right side of the bike.
