How to Change the Engine Oil on a Ducati Multistrada?

To change the engine oil on a Ducati Multistrada, start by running the engine for a few minutes to make the oil more fluid and facilitate draining. After turning off the engine, lift the bike using a centre stand for stability.

Locate the oil drain plug at the bottom of the engine. Position a drain pan under the plug and use a spanner to unscrew it, allowing the old oil to drain completely.

Once the oil has fully drained, refit the drain plug and tighten it securely. Find the oil filler cap located on the side of the engine and remove it. Use a funnel to pour in the new oil, ensuring you follow the quantity and type recommended in the owner's manual.

After filling, replace the filler cap and tighten it well. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes, then turn it off and check for leaks.

This ensures that the new oil is evenly distributed and everything is in order.
