Replacing the oil filter on a Fiat Ducato Multijet is a straightforward task that you can do yourself. To facilitate the oil draining from the sump, it is recommended to position the Ducato on its side with the help of a jack.

Start the replacement by removing the oil filter from inside the engine bay; to do this, you will need to remove the screws on the cover. Remove the filter and insert a new one. Next, open the oil reservoir cap from the engine bay and go underneath to remove the nut and open the sump.

Once the oil has drained, replace the cap. To conclude the replacement, top up with 5 litres of oil in the reservoir and close the engine bonnet.
