In this video we can see how to replace the gearbox oil of a Fiat 500: the one in the video is an Abarth, but operationally nothing changes. We need to lift the vehicle and drain the old oil into a specific container; we will then dispose of it at an authorized center. The youtuber shows us where the drain plug is located, and then the fill plug. Remember that it is always better to open the fill plug first, so as not to end up emptying the tank and then not being able to unscrew the fill plug! We top up the recommended oil as indicated in the owner's manual (should be 75/80), which we must do using a syringe, which we can buy for example on Amazon with the code B074KQNL2Q at a price of 20.41 euros, with free delivery for Prime customers. Of course, we must repeat the operation several times, as the tank holds about one liter and nine hundred of oil. We put the plug back in place and the operation is complete.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after.
