In this video we want to give an indication to those who would like to buy a used vintage 500 to restore it. It is certainly a meritorious work (provided you find a car worth it) but how much does this operation cost? The youtuber helps us by providing some data.

A 1965 500 F cost 1,200 euros, then it took 200 hours of work to restore it to its former glory, not to mention the value of body and mechanical spare parts and bodywork and painting work; then there are the interiors, of course.

The total cost was almost 14,000 euros, including the value of the car. The restoration cost alone is about 12,700 euros. So if we have our dad's, uncle's or grandma's car and we want to keep it restored, we are free to do so, but we know it will cost us as much as a Maserati.

Where to Find and How to Remove the Spare Wheel of a Peugeot 5008?

The spare wheel of a Peugeot 5008 is located under the rear of the vehicle. To remove it, you need to lift the third row of seats to access the fixing bolt that holds the spare wheel in position. Using the correct spanner, proceed to unscrew the fixing bolt until the wheel is no longer secured. At this point, you can extract the spare wheel from underneath the vehicle. Once you have completed this step, you are free to fit the spare wheel. Ensure you correctly remount the spare wheel and securely tighten the fixing bolt when you are finished.
