How to replace the diesel filter on your Panda without incurring labour costs? Here's how to do it yourself effectively. First, lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Once you locate the fuel filter, disconnect it from the hoses and connectors. Remove the filter holder from its housing by hand, then unscrew the retaining washer at the top. Pull out the worn filter and reattach the holder with the new filter. Refit the filter holder in the engine bay with all its parts (hoses and power cables).
