How to Remove and Replace the Fuel Filter on a Fiat Stilo

Follow these steps to remove and replace the fuel filter on a Fiat Stilo: open the bonnet, disconnect the battery terminals; lift the car on a column lift, locate the diesel filter (as shown in the video). Using a socket wrench, undo the securing bolts near the container (disconnect the wires and various pipes from the filter) where the diesel filter is located. Once the filter is removed, take it out of the vehicle (replace it with a new filter). Finally, refit the filter to the associated container (connect the pipes and wires) and tighten the appropriate bolts. Close the front bonnet after maintenance.
