How to Remove the Driver's Side Airbag in the Fiat Grande Punto

Model: Fiat Punto MK 3, Punto EVO, 199, Grandepunto - Years 2005-2018

To remove the airbag from the Fiat Grande Punto, start by removing the horn fuse to prevent any sounds while you proceed with the operation. Locate the fuse in the fuse box situated in the engine compartment. The fuse to disconnect is indicated in the images. At this point, you can begin removing the airbag from the steering wheel. Use a screwdriver to insert into the two slots behind the steering wheel to release the clips that secure the airbag in place. Once this is done, the airbag/horn assembly will come away from its housing. Although not shown in the images, if you wish to replace it, you must disconnect the power supply and proceed to install the new airbag. That’s it!
