Using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew the three nuts that secure the mechanism. Remove the worn mechanism and thoroughly clean the base, eliminating any traces of rust; install the new mechanism, lubricating it with grease if necessary before tightening the three nuts. Remove the jack and check the proper functioning of the door lock. If necessary, replace the door seal before installing the new mechanism.
