The alternator belt, and therefore the auxiliary belt for the air conditioning and water pump, has a specific service interval. It should be replaced at set time intervals or mileage.

Additionally, it may need replacing if it becomes noisy or loses elasticity, affecting the air conditioning's effectiveness. To replace it, loosen the tensioner and remove the belt from its position.

Inspect the pulleys involved, including the alternator and other mentioned parts, and if everything is fine, install the new belt.
