Flashing Mileage on a Fiat 500L After Installing an Android Radio

In this video, we see the solution to a common problem that occurs when installing an Android radio on a Fiat 500: the mileage flashes on the instrument panel because the radio does not communicate correctly with the car's ECU. The key component is the CAN bus, which allows communication between the car's ECU and the Android radio. We need to access the factory menu by going to "settings" and pressing "system" four times in a row, entering the radio password (in this case, for an Atoto, it is 3368). In the factory menu, look for "select car model" then select "Fiat", followed by the specific model "500L 2015". The system must recognise the installed CAN bus, and once correctly configured, the mileage will stop flashing.
