How do you replace the key fob battery on a Fiat 500? Follow these steps: take the remote and press the metal key release button. Once the metal key is out, use a screwdriver to unscrew the tiny screw located in the key cover (where the metal key fits). Remove the plastic battery holder, then replace it with a new one of the same size and voltage using a small screwdriver. Fit the new battery into the compartment and then into the cover. Check that the remote is working correctly.
