How to Reset the Service Light on a Fiat Punto

Model: Fiat Punto MK 3, Punto EVO, 199, Grandepunto - Years 2005-2018

To perform this operation, you will need a yellow cable (adapter for Fiat/Alfa/Lancia which can be found on Amazon with code B0DFSJHX72 for £14.98) and an OBD2 ELM327 with code 3CJKHD0P7FNWQ for £21.99 with free delivery for Prime customers. You will also need to download the "Alfa OBD" app on your smartphone: insert the yellow cable, connect the ELM327 adapter, and turn on the ignition. Then open the app on your smartphone and select "Alfa OBD", go to "preferences/OBD interface/ELM327/Italian" and connect the device to the Wi-Fi network. Choose the make and model of your car, then go to "instrument cluster", select the control unit, and click "connect". Now click on the icon of the car with the bonnet open. Open the drop-down menu and look for "clear service information": select it and press "start". Done!
