How to Open the Fuse Box Cover on a Fiat 500

To open the fuse box and, if necessary, replace a fuse on a Fiat 500, first locate the box itself. In the car we are dealing with, it is located in the glove compartment on the passenger side, inside the cabin. The box is identified by a small cover with the outline of the perimeter drawn on the bottom of the glove compartment. To open it, there is a pressure mechanism that releases the lock. You can press down with your finger to open the cover. At this point, you can access the fuses for removal or replacement.
