How to remove the steering wheel from a Fiat Panda? This operation is very simple if done in order. Follow this guide: insert a medium-length screwdriver into the side slots on the steering wheel and unscrew the retaining pins. Once the pins are removed, disconnect the airbag with the relevant power connectors. Unscrew the bolt in the centre of the steering wheel with a socket wrench; extract it from the steering column. For reassembly of the steering wheel: connect the power connector, then insert the steering wheel into the steering column, press it in with your hands until it is fully seated, and screw in the retaining pins.
