Replacing the Belts on a Fiat Panda

Replace the belt at the indicated mileage in the service book. Here’s how to remove the belts on a second series Fiat Panda. Lift the car on a column lift or jack and remove the front wheel and the right wheel arch liner. Once these operations are complete, lift the bonnet, remove the engine cover panel, and the belt cover. Loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt out of its seat. After fitting the new belt, use a spanner to tension the tensioner pulley until the belt has the correct tension. Finally, check the tensioner and belt. Refit the wheel arch liner and the wheel when finished. Lower the car.
