How to remove the gear knob if it is damaged? Let's see how to replace the knob on a Fiat Grande Punto. We take the knob in our hands and detach it with a decisive movement until it is removed from the shift rod (we pull the knob upwards with force). We disconnect the frame of the leather cap with a plastic lever and replace it if it is damaged.
