We pry until the slide detaches from the mirror (we disconnect the power cable); very delicate operation because the plastic of the mirror could break. We assemble the new mirror, we are careful to have the plastic snap clips hook into the supports, then we assemble the plastic base in the mirror of the car. We adjust the mirror and check if everything is mounted well.
