If you hear a noise when opening and closing the door and the movement no longer has the click that keeps the door open, it means the door rod is damaged. To carry out this repair, you must first remove the door panel; once removed, carefully peel off the soundproofing material, possibly using a utility knife, and then unscrew the fixing pins of the rod from both the door side and the pillar side. Extract the damaged rod through the door, then insert the new one and reverse the steps to complete the installation.
