Replace the door cover panel? Start by removing the plastic trim around the internal handle and the door release lever. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the securing screws on the plastic panel (in the handle and around the release lever). Once all screws are removed, use a trim removal tool to detach all the plastic clips securing the door panel. Pull the door panel away with your hands, disconnect any electrical connectors and release cable. Perform necessary maintenance inside the door. Fit the new panel with all the mounting pieces.
