Removing Central Locking from Fiat Grande Punto

Need to remove the central locking from the door of a Fiat Grande Punto? Remove the lock if it is damaged. Here’s how to do it on a Grande Punto. Use a lever to remove the switch panel after removing the screws, then, with a screwdriver, unscrew the fastening screws on the plastic panel. Once all screws are removed, use the lever to detach all the plastic clips holding the door. Pull off the door panel by hand. Remove the adhesive covering and unscrew the central locking as shown in the video with the appropriate socket key (disconnect the electrical connectors). Remove the damaged piece from inside the door. Install the new piece and all the door covers.
