How to Replace the Coolant in a Fiat Punto

Model: Fiat Punto MK 3, Punto EVO, 199, Grandepunto - Years 2005-2018

Before you can start, open the bonnet of your Fiat Punto. It is strongly advised to perform this operation with the engine cold. Begin by unscrewing and removing the cap from the expansion tank, which contains the coolant. Once done, unscrew and remove the plastic bleed screw using a 13 mm spanner. At this point, position a container underneath the tap located at the bottom of the radiator, then unscrew the tap itself. This will allow all the coolant to drain out. Once all the coolant has drained, close the tap. Next, top up through the expansion tank, and finally, close the bleed screw. You will have completed the coolant replacement.
