How to Replace the Key Battery of a Fiat 500 X

Start by opening the physical key of your Fiat 500 X by pressing the designated release button. Using a small flathead screwdriver and applying leverage, you will need to unclip and remove the rear cover of the key. This will give you access to the internal battery cover. To remove this cover, you will need to rotate it counter-clockwise, again using the screwdriver for assistance. Once you have removed this cover, you will reach the exhausted battery, which you can remove, completing the disassembly. To install the new battery and close the key, simply follow this procedure in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
