Replacement of Oil Vapour Recovery Hose

Time, heat, and oil and petrol vapours wear out engine components, particularly rubber parts. Therefore, in case of a leak or oil vapour escape, it is necessary to replace the rubber hose that has cracked. Identify the faulty component and loosen the hose clamps using pliers. Then, with gentle twisting movements and a bit of force, remove the defective hose. Clean the fittings and insert the new hose, applying new hose clamps. Reassemble the removed components and perform a functionality test.
