Cleaning the Oil Vapour Recovery Filter

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011

To clean the filter in the oil vapour recovery duct, remove the air filter housing and the 90° elbow located on the duct in question (the duct is on the right side of the rocker cover, just behind the spark plug boot). Once the elbow is removed, you can access the filter, which should be carefully extracted using pliers by gripping the central stem; the filter is a sort of spiral-shaped mesh. Clean the filter and reassemble it in reverse order.
