How to Replace the Diesel Filter on a Fiat Punto

Before you start, open the bonnet of your Fiat Punto and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to work safely. Begin by unclipping and moving the hoses connected to the diesel filter. Next, unscrew and remove the bolt that tightens the diesel filter's mounting strap. This will free the diesel filter itself. At this point, disconnect the lower connector, and you will have completed the disassembly. To fit the new diesel filter, simply repeat these steps in reverse, and you will have finished the replacement.
