How to Replace Brake Pads and Discs on a Grande Punto

Model: Fiat Punto MK 3, Punto EVO, 199, Grandepunto - Years 2005-2018

Let’s see how to replace the brake pads and discs on a Grande Punto. Lift the car on a column lift (jack) to the desired height, then remove the wheel with the respective bolts. Unscrew the locking bolt of the brake caliper and remove it from the wheel hub. Use a screwdriver to detach the pads from the caliper of the wheel hub, remove the brake caliper and then the disc. Fit the new brake disc and new pads. Secure all components with the dedicated bolts and refit the wheel. Test the brake operation.
