Replacing the Cabin Fan Resistor on a Fiat Punto

Work from the front passenger side, underneath the dashboard. Remove the plastic cover and locate the fan. Unscrew the three screws, one of which is slightly hidden and located under the fan itself. Now, free the resistor and ensure it is not hot (if you have used the car). It is secured by a connector and a screw, so simply unscrew that screw and extract it by pushing the lever and pulling the connector. Insert the new resistor and screw it in. Place it back in its small compartment. Refit the fan and screw in the three screws. Close the plastic cover under the glove compartment, and you're done.
