Release the internal stop of the exterior mirror, located (as seen in the video) on the plastic on the side of the window, then remove the plastic itself. Once this is done you can remove the plastic itself and unscrew the bolts below. They were the ones who held the mirror in place: this means that once you have arrived here you can disassemble the same mirror with the cap and all the support. See, it's very simple! For reassembly, you just have to obviously proceed backwards. This is a very basic operation within everyone's reach, even less experienced maintenance technicians.
