To replace the gear knob on a Fiat Grande Punto, simply grasp the piece and rotate it counterclockwise. As you turn it, it will unscrew from the gear lever and can be removed, as it is not directly connected to the leather gaiter covering the lever at the bottom. Once the old knob is removed, you can install the new one: it should be positioned at the top of the lever and secured by rotating it clockwise. After installing the new piece, check its proper functioning.
