To replace the gear knob of the Fiat 500 Abarth, grasp the knob and turn it anti-clockwise until it is free from the top of the lever. Once the knob is detached, remove the pin inside that connects it to the leather gaiter. This should be removed after detaching the retaining clips at the base; this will allow you to pull it off. Once the old gaiter is removed, you can fit a new one, which should be connected to the corresponding knob.
