Replacing Wiper Blades and Rear Wiper
Model: Fiat Punto
188, MK 2
- Years 1999-2011
If you notice streaks on the glass while using the wipers or that the windscreen is not perfectly clean, it may be a sign that the wiper blades need replacing. Take note of the make, model, and year of production of your car. Also, check the length of the blades (ensure both are the same size, as some models have longer blades on the driver's side). Replacement blades are usually sold with two to three different types of fittings. Once you have installed the same fitting as yours on the new blade, proceed as follows: lift the wiper arm while holding the blade perpendicular to the arm. Press the tab (this applies to the type of fitting shown in the video) to release the fitting from its slot downwards, then completely free the blade. To install the new one, do the exact opposite. Insert the end of the arm into the blade and fit the attachment into its slot, ensuring the tab clicks into place. Always check that the blade is securely attached and does not come off the arm. Repeat the process for the other blade. For the rear wiper, you need to lift the cover of the fixing pin and unscrew the nut. Raise the arm and pull it out. To reinstall the rear wiper, pay attention to the so-called "millerighe" fitting. The pin has grooves that mesh like gears with the arm. Once the arm is reinserted, lower it and check where it rests. If it rests too high or too low, remove the arm from the "millerighe" pin and rotate it slightly to the right or left as needed, then reinsert it in the correct position at the base of the rear screen. Now all that’s left is to screw in the bolt and lower the protective cover of the pin. Necessary tools: 10mm socket wrench.

Installation of Upgraded Intercooler Radiator with Pipes
Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands, remove the front wheels, and then the front bumper and grille. Proceed to remove the front headlights; drain the coolant, remove the intercooler radiator and the hoses connecting it to the intake system. Position the new intercooler radiator in the grille, temporarily securing it with cable ties, and mark with a marker the part of the metal that needs to be removed to allow the new hoses to pass through. Cut the marked portion of metal and apply a gasket to the edge. Remove the inner cover of the bumper and position it near the radiator to identify any interfering parts to eliminate: again, apply a gasket to the edge of the cut. Create brackets for securing the new radiator and proceed with the installation of the connecting pipes from the radiator to the intake, shaping and connecting them appropriately. Finally, reassemble the bumper, headlights, and grille. by ScegliAuto More videos
