This video shows a somewhat atypical procedure to replace the arms of the Audi A4. After positioning the car on top of the jacks, remove the rubber and extract it. With the screwdriver, unscrew the bolt of the arm after which, in this particular case, you will have to act with the blowtorch on the pin to free the arm. To do this, help yourself with a chisel and hammer. The video proceeds with the removal of the shock absorber: to access it (after having raised the car further) you need to unscrew the three bolts which can be accessed from above (bonnet). Once the shock absorber has been extracted, loosen the bolts that secure the two arms and position them perpendicular to the shock absorber. Refit the shock absorber, then lower the car again and tighten the three bolts in the engine area. Raise the car again and replace the old arm and grease the seat of the arm bolt; reconnect the latter with the help of a parrot pliers and a hammer. Secure the arm bolt with the screwdriver.
